A few hints before getting to your photo shoot
The days before your appointment, make a cure of sleep, healthy diet and rest. This will show on your photos! Prepare the clothes you bring, iron them. Avoid pure white and flat black, they are difficult to deal with in digital photography. Take your appointment in the afternoon preferably, in the morning, the face has traces of sleep and several hours are needed so that the skin regains its smoothness.
Provide at least 1 hour of shooting for portrait sessions and two hours for shooting portfolio. Relax, the photographer will guide you during the shooting and suggest attitudes or poses that will advantage you. And, throughout the session, you watch the photos as they are taken on a high definition computer screen. You can correct some details of makeup, hair, clothes or attitude in front of the camera.
Come alone, the presence of friends would have no other effect than to distract you and affect the chemistry that must exist between you and the photographer. Of course, minors must be accompanied by a parent when they are photographed. If your budget allows, bring a makeup artist and a professional hairdresser, your photos will be even more successful.
